Most of it is free. The rest is one payment.
Proa UI ships 58 components. 34 of them are free under MIT or Apache-2.0, and you can take that source and ship it commercially today. The other 24, plus the private registry and the browser runtime that drives them, come with Proa UI Pro.
Pro is a one-time license for the source delivered at purchase, and it never expires. The subscription beside it is optional and only covers what comes after: new releases, registry access, and support.
Free
Allowlisted component source, MIT or Apache-2.0
Take the source, keep it, ship it commercially. No account required.
What you get
- Full Rust source for every allowlisted component, plus the shared support files they need.
- MIT or Apache-2.0, at your option.
- Commercial use, with no seat count, no registration, and no expiry.
- The proa-free.js and proa-free.css browser runtime.
What it requires
- Pro components are not included.
- The Proa framework is licensed separately, under AGPL-3.0-only or a commercial Proa agreement. The MIT and Apache-2.0 grant here does not cover it.
- The mixed proa.js and proa.css runtime assets carry Pro behavior and stay proprietary. Serving them to a browser does not change that.
- A file is not Free because it sits beside a Free component. The allowlist is the boundary.
- No support commitment.

What you get
- Proprietary Rust source for every Proa UI Pro component available at purchase.
- The limited commercial Proa framework rights needed to use it in closed-source products.
- Commercial use across your licensed team and products.
- An onboarding session to get it into your codebase.
- While subscribed: future releases through the private registry, plus direct support.
What it requires
- Rights come from the Commercial License Agreement accepted at checkout. Payment or package access alone does not grant them.
- The subscription only covers future releases, private registry access, and support. It does not gate the source you already have.
- Cancelling ends new releases, registry access, and support. Rights to source already delivered continue as the agreement provides.
